OVER THE PAST TWELVE YEARS, CHRIS ENNS HAS FOCUSED HIS ENERGY, CREATIVITY AND PASSION ON THE FOOD AND BEVERAGE INDUSTRY. WITH A KEEN INTEREST IN THE COCKTAIL AND SPIRITS WORLD, CHRIS HAS PUT FORWARD A WORK ETHIC AND DEVELOPED A REPUTATION FOR HOSPITALITY THAT HAS HELPED PROPEL HIM TO THE TOP OF HIS FIELD. HIS EARLIER ENDEAVOURS BEGAN AS LEAD BARTENDER AT DOWNTOWN SASKATOON’S 6TWELVE LOUNGE IN THE SHERATON CAVALIER BEFORE HE MADE THE MOVE TO VANCOUVER IN 2014.HERE CHRIS WOULD FURTHER DEVELOP HIS CRAFT, WORKING AT LEGENDARY COCKTAIL BAR THE DIAMOND AS WELL AS THE INTERNATIONALLY RECOGNIZED FAIRMONT PACIFIC RIM HOTEL. AFTER SEVERAL COMPETITION WINS AND MANY EDUCATIONAL TRIPS AROUND THE WORLD, CHRIS HAS TAKEN THE POSITION OF BAR MANAGER AT BARTHOLOMEW.

HIS CAREER HAS BEEN MET WITH INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITIES AND ADVENTURES AND HE IS NOW ONE OF THE CANADIAN AMBASSADORS FOR WORLD CLASS. ENNS HAS BEEN RECOGNIZED IN MULTIPLE COCKTAIL COMPETITIONS INCLUDING BEING A NATIONAL FINALIST FOR GREY GOOSE POUR MASTERS (2016), BACARDI LEGACY (2016), AND DIAGEO’S WORLD CLASS CANADA (2016). HE THEN WENT ON TO WIN TITLES AT THE WOODFORD RESERVE MASTER OF THE MANHATTAN (2018), BARATE-KID TOURNAMENT CHAMPION (2018), DIAGEO’S WORLD CLASS CANADA BARTENDER OF THE YEAR (2018), WHERE HE FINISHED 8TH GLOBALLY, AS WELL AS BEING NAMED CANADA’S BEST RESTAURANTS / BEST BARS BARTENDER OF THE YEAR (2019).

HE HAS HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO VISIT MULTIPLE DISTILLERIES AROUND THE WORLD FROM WHICH HE BRINGS A DEEP UNDERSTANDING AND PERSONAL TOUCH TO EACH COCKTAIL SERVED. THESE TRAVELS TO FRANCE, SCOTLAND, GERMANY, KENTUCKY AND JAPAN, TO NAME A FEW, HAVE GIVEN CHRIS A UNIQUE AND AWARD-WINNING PERSPECTIVE ON COCKTAILS AND HIS NEWLY LAUNCHED BAR PROGRAM AT BARTHOLOMEW.
